Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 8.0 provides a comprehensive collaboration experience with on-premises audio and video conferencing and integration with WebEx meeting applications. The solution offers added flexibility with new deployment options.

The new capabilities and deployment options help deliver an improved user experience, greater security, and a lower total cost of ownership for Cisco WebEx meeting applications and Cisco Unified Communications.

Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 8.0:

• Expands integration with WebEx to now include WebEx Meeting Center, WebEx Training Center, WebEx Event Center, and WebEx Support Center
• Provides enhanced performance and new security options for WebEx meetings with the WebEx Node for MCS*
• Helps better meets the needs of smaller organizations by adding software on an MCS server deployment option for audio and video conferencing
• Provides impromptu, multiparty audio and video conferencing for Cisco Unified Communications and solutions using the Cisco Unified Client Services Framework (CSF)

*The WebEx Node for MCS is a software option for Unified MeetingPlace 8.0 that extends the hosted Cisco WebEx Collaboration Cloud into an organization's onsite network infrastructure. It also lets you keep internal WebEx meeting traffic and meeting recordings on premises.
